This is the blue water in the PIER area of Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines. We are heading to Bohol so, we are on board to a Negros Navigation Ship. The schedule was delayed because one of the engines broke down and it took them five hours to fix it. I took the Suite Room, so huge but, since there was no air condition at this time, we went to grasp for fresh air at the deck. Here is the view below us.
Four kids, under the 80 degrees heat, having boating and swimming. They did not swim for fun here. The eldest boy baby sat for the youngest brother. Their parents worked as vendors nearby. The on board passengers throw coins to them. They will catch and find the coin underneath the water. They are expert for this skill. Not a single coin will be wasted. They were fast swimmers.
I do not know if this scenario happen in another country. In the Philippines, it is normal in the Pier area. I never throw coins though. I bought some crackers and throw it to them. They ate it. I can only sigh with this sight.
